Dumas & Sanclemente Law, PLLC is a Florida personal injury law firm founded in 2020 by attorneys Axel J. Dumas and Jonathan Sanclemente. We represent people injured in car, truck, motorcycle, rideshare, pedestrian accidents, slip and falls, and negligent security incidents. We also represent families who have lost someone due to another party’s negligence.
We have two offices. The Lutz office serves the Tampa Bay area, and the Fort Lauderdale office serves South Florida. We can communicate with clients in English, Spanish, and French.

Before representing the injured, Axel Dumas worked as a defense attorney and represented insurance companies. Prior to co-founding Dumas & Sanclemente Law, Jonathan Sanclemente spent his career at a statewide personal injury firm, representing injured individuals. Between them, they have seen personal injury claims from both sides of the table.
That experience shapes how we build your case. We know what adjusters look for in medical records, how they evaluate a claim, and which details can be used to reduce a payout. We gather that evidence early, document your injuries and losses carefully, and build every file thoroughly from the start.

The legal process is stressful enough without a language barrier. Axel was born in Paris, France, and speaks English, French, and Spanish. He leads our French-language client service from the Fort Lauderdale office. Jonathan speaks English and Spanish and works from the Lutz office. Our supporting staff also speak Spanish, so you can talk through your case, sign documents, and get updates in the language you’re most comfortable with.
Meet Our Attorneys
Axel J. Dumas, Partner and Managing Attorney
Axel was born in Paris, France, and moved to Florida as a 10-year old. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Florida State University in 2009. He then earned a J.D. and an MBA from St. Thomas University in 2016, where he was a member of the law school’s trial team. Axel began his legal career in defense before finding his passion representing the injured. After several years advocating for injury victims, he co-founded Dumas & Sanclemente Law in 2020. Jonathan Sanclemente, Partner and Managing Attorney
Jonathan was born in Queens, New York, and has lived in the Tampa Bay area for most of his life. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University in 2009 and his J.D. from Florida Coastal School of Law. In law school, he studied in France and interned in Trinidad and Tobago. Before co-founding the firm, he practiced at a statewide personal injury firm, where he litigated hundreds of cases and gained trial experience. Jonathan is admitted to practice in Florida.
